Please help! I need your input for this question/problem dealing with trigonometry and sound waves. Click attached!

see trigonometry is not fundamentally mathematics of sounds and music, no doubt it can easily depict a sound wave but it is a language that tells us the variation of sound wave. now if you're talking about geometric figure it's sawtooth function. and geometry of the sound waves can easily be explained by trigonometric functions. as far as certain tones are concerned i guess it's just the variation of air pressure that makes us feel good. and obviously same trigonometric functions are used to solve electromagnetic waves like I=Asin(wt)
