1.) What is the Law of Conservation of Matter? 2.) What is meant by the activity series of metals? 3.) What is the most active metal?, least active metal?
1) Matter cannot be created nor destroyed. 2) The activity series is the arrangement of elements in the order of decreasing reactivity. 3) Francium/Cesium are the most active metals. Gold/Platinum are the least active.
@kartiksriramk Why is it in the activity series the most active metal is lithium?
I got the activity series from the internet am I wrong?
Because it is the most reactive metal. It is right. Cesium and Francium are more reactive than Lithium but the hardly come in reactions so they are ignored.
So my answer are : 1.) The Law of Conservation of Matter states that Matter cannot be created nor destroyed. 2.) The activity series is the arangement of metals in order of decreasing reactivity from top to bottom. 3.) Lithium is the most reactive metal. Gold is the least reactive metal. @kartiksriramk is this correct?
Yes it is.
Thanks :)
