An athletic club uses 800mL of chlorine each day for its swimming pool. How many liters of chlorine are used in a month of 30 days?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think ive got it but i would just like someone to help with the correct equation to solve it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[800mL= 800\times10^{-3}L ; then:the amount of CL at 1 month=800\times10^{-3}\times30 L\]

im lost

help

OpenStudy (ganpat):

800 ml = 0.8 liters.. that is for 1 day.. so for 30 days = 0.8 * 30 = 24 liters of chlorine...

i did do it right, thank you Ganpat. thats the exact equation that i used.

OpenStudy (ganpat):
