Solve the following system of equations and show all of your work. 4x + 3y = -1 3x + y = 3 I need some help please :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply d second eqn by 4 n first by 3 then subtract them ,u ll get 5y=-15 i.e y=-3 and x=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks so much :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but what method did you use graphing, elimination, or substitution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dear its elimination coz i ve subracted d second eqn from first, eliminating x..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh lol thanks again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my pleasure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can solve it by making "X" term of "Y" in on of the 2 equations and substiute its value at the other equation
