What are 3D glasses made of?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

old 3D glasses were made of a red lens and blue lens modern 3D glasses are made up of polarized lens, meaning they only allow light waves to pass through in one direction basically if you have a polarized lens that only allows horizontal light waves to pass through, then vertical light waves cant pass so one eye see's horizontal light and the other see's vertical light well i think thats how they work

thanks do you know this one A point P is on a line segment, which has two electrical charges, A and B, as its end points. If the electric field at point P due to charge A is +7.1 × 10¢ newtons/coulomb and the field due to charge B is +2.2 × 10¢ newtons/coulomb, what is the net electric field at point P ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

coulombs law?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

measure the field at P from A then measure the field at P from B add them together and you get the field at P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it how about this one What is the relationship between the electric field strength at a point and its distance from the source charge?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

again look at coulomb's law i believe its like 1/r^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as the distance increases the electric field strength increases?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it decreases if r= 1 then field =1 if r=2 then field = 1/4 3 --1/9 kinda like 2 magnets

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would the force of a test charge change if the electric field is doubled?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok F= K q1 q2 /r^2 if we're just looking at q1, and everything else remains constant, what happens to F when you multiply q1 by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its doubled?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the force experienced by a positively charged balloon is 2.7 newtons and the electric field strength is 7.8 × 10¢ newtons/coulomb, what is the magnitude of the charge on the balloon?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just look at units and determine how you go about getting just coulombs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i really dont understand that one
