Can someone please explain in detail about how Knife Throwing is involved in physics in Force, Gravity, Center Mass, and Speed/Rate (I am going into 8th grade and have no knowledge in physics since I am taking it this year. This is summer homework)

OpenStudy (zepp):

When you throw a knife, you are giving it a momentum ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Momentum); the knife you throw has a magnitude (speed) and a direction

OpenStudy (zepp):

You'll put in force to throw the knife and it will go at a certain speed (To get in a object or whatever)

Thank you @zepp this really helped.
