(3 green, 4 yellow, 5 blue, 8 pink)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm.. 4/25?

OpenStudy (ganpat):

in total there are 3+4+5+8 = 20 marbles.. so for 1st draw it needs to be green or blue.. where green = 3 & blue = 5 (3/20 ) + (5/20) = 8/20 = 2/5.. he replaces that, so again u have 20 marbles.. and now for second draw it should be pink.. so u have 8 pink marbles.. so = 8/20 = 2/5... the same..

i think 2/5 is not the answer..

OpenStudy (ganpat):

oh.. so together 1st and 2nd attempt u will get = (2/5) * (2/5) = 4/25... u r right again.. u r good.. :)
