step one- convert to slope intercept form step two- graph it step three- find if any intersections exists

personally i like using slope intercept form because once its in this form, its easy to just plot the intercept on the graph, then draw the rest of the line because you already have the slope its a horrible method if the slope ends up not being whole numbers or ridiculously large fractions
