√(3x^2 ) x 3√(3x^4 )?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the first square root you can simplify by taking out the x^2 it turns into an x outside of the square root

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the second one the x^4 will turn into x^2

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

√(3x^2 ) = √(3) x 3√(3x^4 ) = 3√(3) x^2
