where did it go? ??
OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
use Quadratic equation
first write in standard form
4x^2-12x-40=0
here
a=4,b=-12,c=-40
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i wouldn't do that
OpenStudy (anonymous):

may you please put it back up?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
go ahead
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Divide both sides by 4:
x² - 3x = 10
Subtract 10 from both sides to get everything on the left:
x² - 3x - 10 = 0
Factor:
(x - 5)(x + 2) = 0
Answer:
x = 5
or
x = -2 haha here ya go :) I don't know what happened to it! lol
