what is the formula for the area of a circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and what is the distance formula?

OpenStudy (alexwee123):

@sweetpeach93 use the distatance formula to find the length of the diameter then divide that by 2 to get your radius then sub in the radius into the area of a circle formula
