Which point lies in the solution set for the following system of inequalities? y > x + 4 y > -2x + 2 A (-4, 0) B (-3, 2) C (2, -1) D (0, 6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just test all the points in both inequalities. If it is true then it does, if not then no. e.g. A(-4,0) sub into first: is 0 > (-4) + 4? Answer no. so it does not lie in the solution set. Just keep going until a point lies within both
