Divide: 6x4 -2x3 - 13x - 7 by 3x + 8 So I did it again because when I checked my last answer it was wrong and so this time I got an answer of 2x^3-6x^2-16x+((115x-7)/(3x+8)) Well I re-checked this answer too and it is also wrong.. Can someone work it out for me so I can see where I made my mistake? Thanks again y'all !

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

Okay, thank you. !

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

i get 2x^3 - 6x^2 + 16x - 47 + 369/(3x + 8) - its easy to make mistakes in long division

Ohhh. Crud nuggets. I forgot to write the -47 at the top for the quotient. I had the right answer all along.. Silly me.. How embarassing. But thank you :)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

lol - don't worry - easily done with these yw
