PleaSE help me!! Which of the below systems of equations matches the following graph? (graph attached below) x – 3y = 9 2x + 3y = 0 x + 3y = –9 2x + 3y = 0 x – 3y = –9 2x – 3y = 0 x + 3y = 9 2x – 3y = 0

OpenStudy (ghazi):

it's d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just isolate the y on one side to get a y=mx+b equation wiht m being the slope and b being the y-intercept. It's easier to tell the shape of a graph this way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And I dont have to use the midpoint formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not at all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh I was confused I thought I had to use both..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. As Ghazi said. I just helped you figure out the answer yourself to understand the question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thank you so much ! Now I know I dont have to use both..The lesson I read about this confused me intead on helping me hehe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you guys!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're welcome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (ghazi):

you should have checked a one pair of point for single line and in just two steps you might have got your answer..by the way you're done now :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) Thanks!
