Which of the following points lie in the solution set to the following system of inequalities? y > -3x + 3 y > x + 2 (2, -5) (-2, 5) (2, 5) (-2, -5)

hartnn (hartnn):

just put in the values of x and y in the two equations, the point which satisfy bth equation is your answer....

You can either graph or solve the system. You can also just plug in the values until you get the answer. You can't tell what's the answer for example it might not be B if you don't try it and plug it in.

If you want a quick graph you can plug the system into wolfram and see where they intersect.
