Please help? The interior of a bowl is hemispherical. If the radius is 20 centimeters, approximately how many liters of liquid will it hold? [(4/3)pi(40)cubed/1000](1/2) [(4/3)pi(20)cubed x 1000(1/2) [(4/3)pi(40)cubed x 1000](1/2) [(4/3)pi(20)cubed/1000](1/2) [(4/3)pi(10)cubed x 1000](1/2)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well lots of maths here... 1. find the volume of the sphere \[V = \frac{4}{3} \pi r^3\] 2. halve the answer to get the volume of a hemisphere 3. use the fact 1cm^3 = 1mL

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

oops and I forgot... last step divide by 1000 to get litres
