Can someone please explain the De Broglie wavelength concept?

OpenStudy (ghazi):

De-Broglie stated that every moving particle has ceratain wavelength associated with it and it is given by lambda= h/m*v where 'h' is plancks constant...so basically he tried to unify dual behavior of matter..that is particle and wave

OpenStudy (ghazi):

where lambda is wavelength
