Get your r's to one side, everything else to the other side. almost nickv_1... missed the r on the right.

Your cross multiply trick requires keeping the denominator of r... which ultimately gets multiplied to the other side.

I helped beck with a similar problem using clearing of fractions technique, so I was trying to be consistent... both methods work.
