Things to help writer's block?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Doing anything else to help you relax or just to take your mind off writing for a bit can sometimes help out whether it's reading a book, doing some art, watching a movie, going for a walk, or just calling up a friend and going out. It won't be the same for everyone, but taking a break in doing something else can provide a quiet moment or two allowing you to hit what has you stuck with a fresh mind. Sometimes inspiration strikes when you least expect it to by simply focusing on something else for a while before heading back to ye olde word processor/typewriter/notepad. As one example, Neil Gaiman once tweeted that he was stuck on a part of his new book until the solution came up for it while out for his usual jog.
