Which equation describes the function shown on the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. y = - 1 5 x – 5 B. y = 5x – 5 C. y = -5x – 5 D. y = 1 5 x – 5

If I am reading the graph correctly, the y intercept is -5 and the x intercept is 1. The y intercept form of a linear equation is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept (-5 for you). Slope (m) is rise (5 for you) over run (1 for you).
