how do i divide this . c+5/ c-3 by 3c+15/c-5 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, when you divide one fraction by another fraction, the top fraction is multiplied by the bottom's reciprocle. i.e (a/b)/(c/d) = (a/b)(d/c)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be c+5 * c-3? and then c-3* 3c+15 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, it would be (c+5*c-5)/(c-3 * 3c+15)
