HELP !!!! Let f(x) = 3x +2 and g(x) = 7x + 6. Find f • g and its domain.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

f o g is just this : x->g(x)->f(x)->OUTPUT x is the input, you send it to g first, g output you send it to f you take what f throws out

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

you can see above that, f(x) is taking the output of g(x) right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah.. but im just confused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

think about it like this. f(g(x)). so this means: f(7x+6) then sub this into f(x). so 3(7x+6) + 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. 6x^2 + 4x + 42; all real numbers except x = -2/3 B. 6x^2 + 4x + 42; all real numbers C. 21x^2 + 32x + 12; all real numbers D. 21x^2 + 32x + 12; all real numbers except x = -6/7 These are my choices.
