what is difference between milk spoilage and milk turning into curd?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

may be,first difference should be,milk spoilage is spontaneous(done by contaminating bacteria) and milk turning into curd is a voluntary process

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The bacteria does fermentation process using compounds from milk(e.g. protein, fat, lactose sugar) and may create waste products that results a bad odour or change of the natural look of the milk.It can form curd from natural milk spoilage, but that's generally not edible. But,you can actually see, milk can be spoiled systematically to make cheese to bring the notable texture and aroma in it...but milk curding is a general process in which by adding acidic material(e.g. vinegar/lemon juice),the normal pH is altered and the milk proteins get tangled up and dissociates from the milk to become solid curds....hope that helps
