first put the equation in slope intercept form.Do you need me to explain it to you or do you just need the answer?
OpenStudy (anonymous):

In order to find the y-intercept, you plug 0 in for x
-(0) - 2y = 6
-2y = 6
y = -3
In order to find the x-intercept, you plug 0 in for y
-x - 2(0) = 6
-x = 6
x = -6
So, your y-intercept is -3, and your x-intercept is -6
Therefore the coordinates are : (-6,0) (0, -3) that the line will go through.
you get it?
