\( B \subseteq A \) such that B:{Children between the ages of 4 and 7}

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

idk I just guessed nething

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

There can be many options

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

ohh which of the following. lol ya what are the options

OpenStudy (ganpat):

:)

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

A subset is something that is included in the set

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

Basically all elements of the subset B must be included in the original set A

OpenStudy (ganpat):

@michaelr35 : any comments ??

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

@michaelr35 so what do u have to say for urself??????

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

hahaha u r a copycatterr

OpenStudy (ganpat):

me ?? i replied 1st.. :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

{children over 10} {children under 3} {a 12 year old child} {children between the ages of 4 and 6}

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

well ok u tell me which one of these are included in A

OpenStudy (ganpat):

what do u think ?? Subset means, something that is in between main set, excluding extreme values ..

OpenStudy (ganpat):

@swissgirl : ha ha , we r so going same.. :D

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

\( A=\{ 3<\text{ children's age } <10 \} \)

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

As we see in set A the children's age is btwn 3 and 10 but not equaling 3 or 10 So from the options that you have listed Which one is included in set A

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

is {children over 10} included A={3< children's age <10} ?

OpenStudy (swissgirl):

Any thoughts on the matter?

OpenStudy (ganpat):

@michaelr35 : present ??

OpenStudy (swissgirl):
