Did you ever think that the values and beliefs of the early English colonists are still alive in America? Geographers say that a civilization will continue to show the values and beliefs of the people who first settled it. As a history detective, you have a chance to find out for yourself if the values and beliefs of the first American colonists are still with us. For your first project, you are to write a five-paragraph essay about certain values and beliefs that you observe in yourself, your family, or your friends. Do you see any of the values and beliefs of the early American colonists
Well, what's your own opinion? Personally, I think certain values are still inherent today that the colonists held. Like for example .. - Strong attachments to rights/liberty/etc : America, and American media sources are mostly slightly liberal. Many people are strongly protective of their own rights, though, regardless of political orientation. - American Exploration/Conquering : Americans (at least in my opinion) still hold on to the belief that nature and other parts of the world, should be conquered / reigned over, if that makes sense. What d'you think?
Thank you but I got it :)
