If I write this up, will someone proof read it for me please?

OpenStudy (wach):

Sure. This would also qualify as a biology-type question, too, though. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am new to this site, so I'm not sure what we can ask and what we can't ask.

OpenStudy (wach):

Oh, okay :) That's fine to ask, so go ahead. Just make sure that your questions are in the right category in the future (you can click on the tab that says 'Writing' to change subjects, and find new subjects with the 'Find more subjects' link :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright. Thank you so much :)

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

@wach Since this user is asking for proofreading help and not actual help with fracture terminology or anatomy or whatever, the question is actually posted appropriately. I do not need to have knowledge in biology to provide feedback on the writing. ;) Thanks though.

OpenStudy (wach):

Oh. I thought a biological background would be appropriate to check for discrepancies in the actual information presented. People have asked similar questions, and generally (from what I've seen) a background in the type of information presented helps a lot and is useful for both the reader (who is able to understand the specific wording/vocab/jargon of the subject) and the writer (who will be able to see if certain terms/the writing is presented correctly.) But I have background in writing and proofreading, so I should be able to help! Thanks @jagatuba for the interesting point, though. :)

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

@wach I wasn't suggesting that the user couldn't or shouldn't post it in biology. Certainly the more eyes the better. In fact, posting it in both groups is going to give you expert proofing in both areas (writing mechanics and biology concepts). I was just stating that it is alright and appropriate to post papers here on ANY subject so as not to deprive this user and future users advice and feedback from writing experts such as ourselves. :D

OpenStudy (wach):

Oh wow, @jagatuba, I didn't know that, so thanks for clearing it up! :) From your wording, I had thought you meant that it should only be posted in Writing, and especially not Biology/whateverthesubject. Thank you for correcting me.
