Which of the following best explains a long-term disadvantage of antibiotic use in patient care?
Extended use can result in: - drug resistance - there can also be certain unpleasant side-effects like digest problems, yeast infection, and/or sensitivity to sunlight.
ok thanks which answer would it be? Antibiotics are more expensive to manufacture and distribute than vaccines. Vaccines are covered by most health care plans, while many antibiotics are not. Most vaccines are harmless, while some antibiotics have dangerous side effects. Misuse of antibiotics can lead to an increase in antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria.
Which do you think is the correct answer? You can probably eliminate the first 2.
the third one?
While vaccines are practically harmless in most settings, I'm not too sure about the dangerous side effects for antibiotics. Generally, side effects are minimal unless used in an unintended way. I would guess the fourth choice, but I'm not completely sure. Sorry about that.
ok thanks
No problem :)
