3/4x=-9/11y +12 ; x=10 first solve for y then substitute x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Multiply the entire problem by a least common denominator, which I believe is going to be 44

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gets rid of the fractions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

33x = -36y + 528 after you multiply by 44, this cleared the fractions, 33(10)=330 so 330 = -36y + 528 move 330 to other side 0 = -36y + 198 then move Y over tthe other side 36y = 198 y = 5.5

It says solve for y then substitute X, IDK what that wants to substitute X for, but I got y solved lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if X = 10, and Y = 5.5. you can sub anything and then just adjust the other number equally
