Give the slope of each line and then determine whether the two lines are parallel, perpendicular or neither parallel or perpendicular. 5x+4y=4 15x+12y=0 Wouldn't I use the y=mx+b formula to solve both of these to find the slope?

OpenStudy (precal):

yes then compare the slopes

OpenStudy (precal):

if the slopes are the same, they are parallel if the slopes are opposite reciprocals then they are perpendicular also, it is possible they are neither
