Can soneone tell me if I have done this correctly? Combine like terms. Write all answers in descending order. 1.4y^3 +2.9-7.7y-1.3y-4.1+9.6y^3 = (9.6y^3+1.4y^3) +(-4.1+2.9) +(-7.7y-1.3y)= 11y^3-6.4y-1.2= 4.6^4-1.2

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

the last line is completely wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[1.4y^3 +2.9-7.7y-1.3y-4.1+9.6y^3 \]first put the terms with the same exponents next to each other, starting from the largest exponent, which is 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[1.4y^3+9.6y^3-7.7y-1.3y+2.9-4.1\] then combine like terms

okay! thanks everyone!
