Use the slope and y-intercept, if possible, to graph the line whose equation is given. y=2x-2

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

it has a slope of 2 and a y intercept of -2, so go to -2 on the y axis and make a point, from there go up 2 and over to the right 1, because slope is rise over run so a slope of 2 is 2/1. then go back to that point on the y intercept and go down 2 and to the left 1(notice 2 = -2/-1) so rise over run still works:)

Oh ok. I don't understand why I didn't get this before. Thank you.
