PLease help I do not know what I did wrong on this problem...?!?!?!? Look at the hexagon shown. What is the value of x? 85 140 175 130 I first thought I needed to find the sum of the angles (n-2)180=(6-2)180=(4)180=720 then I subtracted 180 because of the 2 90 degree angles which gave me 540 and I divided 540 by 4 to find the four angles not found and got 135.... not an answer choice. but id you do it by each angle (n-2)180/n you end up with 120

you are definitely on the right track.

but I would write down all the angles, just to make sure I don't make a mistake. x+x+90+90+x+10+x+10= 720 now simplify

OpenStudy (phi):

you do know that x+x+x+x is the same as 4x and 90+90+10+10= 200 so the equation is 4x+200 = 720 can you simplify this?
