What is the surface area this storage box?

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

look up the formula for surface area and plug in the numbers

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

surface area of a cube

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you tell me the formula for surface area?

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

surface area of a cube is 6s^(2)

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

S = the length of the sides in your case though since we are dealing with a rectangle you would use Height*width*Number of sides = surface area so you get h*w*6 = surface area

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

wait we are dealing with a cube both equations will work for it though because the height and width are the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

each side is a square of length \(2.5\) and so area \(2.5^2\) there are 6 sides so you want \(6\times 2.5^2\)

OpenStudy (australopithecus):

Im out of it right now I have no idea why im trying to help people with math problems when i can hardly communicate concisely
