Determine whether the following polynomials can be factored by grouping. If so, factor the polynomials showing all work. If not, explain why this method will not work. 2c2 + 4cd + 3c + 3d 4g2 + 12gh + 5g + 15h

hero (hero):

For the first one: 2c(c + 2d) + 3(c+d) The method will not work because there are no common factors in either term.

hero (hero):

For the second one: 4g(g+3h) + 5(g+3h) This method will work because we have a common factor: g + 3h. Factoring it out gives us a complete factored form of: (g+3h)(4g+5)
