mathslover (mathslover):

I want to make following requests: 1) To have subtopics in the groups for example : in maths : algebra, trigonometry etc. 2) We can see the questions asked and answered in a particular group for example: OS FEEDBACK : We can see questions asked and answered in this group.. for ease

mathslover (mathslover):

Explanation for these ideas 1) This idea was given by me earlier also, but no response.. This idea is basically focused on the topic experts, for example: a person is expert in a question, so rather than scrolling down the open quest., we can have Sub groups in the math group.. This will increase the rate of questions being answered. 2) We have :questions asked tag there but it would be better if we have questions asked and answered for particular groups also. It would be very comfortable to find our questions that we have asked in a particular group recently or questions answered in the group. I accept that you may not have so much time to look for the implementation of these ideas but I just wanted to put this into your mind..

OpenStudy (vishweshshrimali5):

Nice idea........ I agree with 1st one atleast we can ask the user to type in which category the question belongs to

OpenStudy (amistre64):

our profile pages have a record of asked and answered questions

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

Thanks for the votes of interest. As we've said before, we're interested in doing the subtopics. Just a matter of finding time. With regard to filtering asked and answered by group - that's a more... difficult... request from a computational perspective. It could be done, but I'm not sure there's enough demand to justify the engineering effort that would be involved in making it fast.

mathslover (mathslover):

Thanks for accepting that requests, I hope that they will be taken into action soon and I think that they are been taken. The second request, I agree that it may be very hard or difficult, but yes it is not as much imp. thanks a lot

mathslover (mathslover):

But yes I hope that it would not have disturbed your mind from other important things

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if you can distract him for a few moments, the rest of us moderators are planning something devious ;)

mathslover (mathslover):

haha... It was just a formality sir.. I know he is expert in not distracting himself.. ;)
