Writing 12 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have an APA question. I'm writing a manuscript where much of my source material is digitized (transcribed, not scanned) interviews. Do I cite them as websites and include their original publication info in my endnotes? Or can I cite them by author name and date since I do have that info?

OpenStudy (jagatuba):

Cite by author name and date, but on your reference page you still want a website reference if that is where you got the interview from. Author. (Date). Title of interview. Retrieved from URL Note: if there is no title use Interview with [interviewee first and last] Note: A retrieval date will not be necessary since an archived interview is not likely to change.
