I am not able to make a group. can anyone tell me how? I am wanting to make one where people can get on and talk about everything and anything that is going on in there lives. i thought there was on but i guess not....

seeing how this site is meant to facilitate and encourage people to study, the admins have wisely come to the conclusion that "chitchat" groups do not fulfill the vision or mission of the site.  In days of old, they tried the concept of allowing people to create their own subgroups and such; but the privilege was abused to a great extent and was revoked.  In these more enlightened days of the OpenStudy, a person can email their suggestions for a new group and the admins will mull it over.

I very much support the idea of allowing groups again. Self moderated, study focused groups. I don't know why people would use it for chit chat, that's why we have instant messaging!
