If the line of reflection lies to the left of a pre-image, where will the image lie? A to the left of the pre-image B above the pre-image C below the pre-image

A right?

For example, let the y-axis be the axis of reflection. Now consider a point on the pre-image, say, the point (-1, 1) (I simply picked a point that lies to the left of the line of reflection, so the line of reflection lies to the right of the point). Its image is (1, 1) which is to the right of the line of reflection. More generally, if (-a, b) with a > 0 is a point of the pre-image, then the corresponding point of the image is (a, b), which lies to the right of the axis of reflection.
