how do you find the Y-Intercept of y= 1/2(x-3)^2+2

OpenStudy (phi):

the y-intercept (by definition) is on the y-axis. the x value for a point on the y-axis is 0 so, replace x with 0 in the equation, and do the arithmetic to find the y value.
