Question

Find the difference.

(-8x^2-8x-4)-(-2x^2-7x+3)=
-8x2-8x-4+ 2x^2 + 7x-3=
(-8x^2 +2x^2) + (-8x + 7x) + (-4 -3)=
-6x^2 - 1x -7

Am I on the right track?
