If a triangle has a side with length 6 and another side with length 7, which of the following could NOT be the area of the triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A) 1 B) 6 C) 15 D) 21 E) 25

OpenStudy (ghazi):

using 1/2*b*h gives 21 beyond which i can't see there is a possibility so can you guess now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What if we don't have a right triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah... slightly confused

OpenStudy (ghazi):

well info has to be mentioned in the question...well still if it is not a right triangle ...area won't go beyond 21..you can draw perpendicular bisector and area will come almost 21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then i see. hey, thanks!

OpenStudy (ghazi):
