Identify the correct x-intercept and y-intercept of the graph of the equation 2x - y = 8.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Rearrange to get y=2x-8. The constant term (the one that doesn't involve any x or y) on the right hand side is the y-intercept, which is -8. The x intercept is the solution of the equation when y=0: 2x-8=0 implies x-4=0, so x=4 is the x intercept.
