OpenStudy (mathmate):

The mean is the average. So you add up all the 7 numbers and divide the total by 7 to get the mean. For the median, you need to arrange them in order, and the middle number is the median, namely the number with an equal number of data greater than or equal as the number of data less than or equal to it. The mode is the most frequently occurring number. Examle: 4,5,6,6,7,8,8,9 would have two modes, 6, and 8 which both occur twice.
