Choose the correct slope of the line that passes through the points (0, 0) and (3, 30). 10 0 5 −10

OpenStudy (zarkon):

\[m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\]

OpenStudy (zarkon):

\[(x_1,y_1)=(0,0)\] \[(x_2,y_2)=(3,30)\]

I dont get it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The slope of a line can be 'defined' as \[m=\frac{rise}{run}=\frac{\Delta y}{\Delta x}\], where delta denotes "change in". So it is the difference of the y coordinates divided by the difference of the x coordinates.
