How do I solve the following Inequality Problem: (3/|5-2x| )< 2

OpenStudy (vishweshshrimali5):

\[\large \cfrac{3}{|5-2x|} < 2\] Cross multiply \[\large \cfrac{3}{2} < |5-2x|\] Now there are two cases Case 1 .... 5-2x > 0 then \[\large \cfrac{3}{2} < 5-2x\] solve this Case 2 ... 5 - 2x <0 then \[\large \cfrac {3}{2} < -(5-2x)\] \[\large \cfrac{3}{2} < 2x - 5\] solve this also
