Yes. \[x+6\ge5 -> x \ge-1\] and \[-x-6 \ge 5 -> -x \ge 11 -> x \le -11\] When you have aboslute value inequalities, all you do is solve it once as it is, then remove the | brackets | and multiple what was in the brackets by -1, then solve again. The easiest way to think about it is that this means that the distance between x and -6 is greater than or equal to 5. So On either side the boundaries will be at -1 and -11. Does this make sense to you?
