The distance between two cities is ninety miles, and a woman drives from one city to the other at a rate of 45 mph. At what rate must she return if the total travel time is three hours and forty minutes? 27 mph?

could you check @lgbasallote

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

if she drove 45 mph going 90 miles then that means she arrived at the other city in 2 hours the total travel time is 3 hours and forty five minutes...so she drove back to the city in 1 hour and 45 mins (since she drove for 2 hours earlier) so that means she must have went faster than 45 mph

thank you!
