Add 133º 18’ 19”+33º 43’ 28” Express without a decimal. 14.02º The sum is ___º ____’____” 14.02º=14º ___’___” I’m very stuck on how to do this. Please can anyone shed some light on this problem.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

hint: there are 60 ' (minutes) in a degree and 60 " (seconds) in a minute so for example 1degree 40' added to 1 degree 50' is 3 degrees 30' ( 40' + 50' = 90' = 1 degree 30' (90 - 60) )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I add 60 to these numbers and then subtract

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or do you add both degrees together

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would 106 be the first one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be 106, 1, and 13

Could someone please help me on this. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right or not.
