How am I be able to analyze a problem systematically and find ways or solutions to make it in a SMART program???

you mean to analyze a problem statmnt ? and then convert it into a smart program ?
1.First of all try to read the problem statemnt , and clear things , read prblm statmnt with full concentration.
2.if you are unable to understand the statmnt (w/o going into logic aspect) read it again untill u gain some thng from statmnt.
3. DO paper work before moving 2wards editing and compilation of prgrm.
from papr work i mean to say clear things.
4. make a rough sketch (algorithm/pseudo code) of ur problem on paper n then implement it.
its a good practice to do prgrmng. rushing blindly to compiler first is not a good step , as it divides ur concentration frm making logic to implementation.
this is my own experience, hope so it will help u.
